Chinook Sexual Assault Centre now open

The new Chinook Sexual Assault Centre celebrated it's grand opening on International Women's Day. The centre aims to provide a one-stop location providing system navigation, education and support for victims of sexual assault.

“It’s a service that the community really needs,” Bill Kaye, project coordinator with the Domestic Violence Action Team said. “It’s going to provide system navigation, it will provide education and support and provide counselling and all of those services in one place that someone could actually point to and say… ‘Go there.’”
