This interactive workshop builds real-world skills around understanding and preventing sexual harassment — skills you can use at work, in school, and in everyday life. Participants receive a certificate of completion, and while the training is regularly $75, it’s currently being offered at no cost for those 30 and under. Upcoming sessions: June 3 — 9:00 a.

We will be participating in Pride in the Park to support and celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. At the Chinook Sexual Assault Centre, we provide support to individuals of all genders as well as gender non-conforming or identifying individuals who have been impacted by sexual violence. Through tabling at this event, we aim to raise awareness of our services and connect with community members in a meaningful and inclusive way.

We are happy to share that we are facilitating our Responding to Disclosures training through Lethbridge Integrated Coordinated Access (ICA) on July 10th. We are grateful to be able to provide this training to continue strengthening community response to sexual violence. This is a training for community professionals on navigating disclosures of sexual violence. This training will provide attendees with foundational knowledge, insights, skill building within receiving disclosures, and community connections to best support those that have been harmed through sexualized violence.

We have been invited to participate in a S.H.A.R.P. Society (Sobriety and Healthing Activity-Based Recovery Program) community tabling event. In addition to celebrating their first year of operation, this event aims to raise awareness of addiction recovery support services in Lethbridge and the surrounding area. Our participation will focus on sharing information about our services with individuals impacted by addiction, supporting this important initiative, and strengthening collaboration within the community.
